Louise Richards

Owner of Trackside Gallery and Workshop is a an art foundation graduate, winner of a Goldsmiths Award for enamelling (2001)and a graduate Silversmith and Jeweller from Sir John Cass faculty, London Guildhall University.

Louise creates jewellery pieces incorporating enamel on gold silver and copper. She has decided to concentrate on enamelling as the play of colour and light on silver excites and intrigues her. Louise uses foils and cloisonné wires to add depth and interest to her pieces.

Louise gets inspiration from many sources and is particularly drawn to coastal features, and marine colours, erosion and decay. Louise has a diverse range, everything from cufflinks to delicate necklaces, her pieces are made to be worn and complement the wearer.

Louise produces a steady collection of pieces in her own inimitable style, but also delights in embarking on one off commissions. Louise is a member of the British Society of EnamellersBSOE.

Louise will be exhibiting her work in Japan, Spain and Finland this year.
