Rachel Tooth
Rachel is a local artist who, after 15 years working in interiors, both as a designer and a specialist decorator, including commissions for murals, has turned to putting paint on canvas. Self taught, though with early encouragement from her mother, a Chelsea School of art graduate, Rachel draws inspiration from the forms and colours of the earth, though anything can inspire, from light on a cooker hob to an orange bedspread! Paint is almost always applied with a palette knife and images can be abstract or figurative - depending on the mood! Rachel has now had three very successful exhibitions at Trackside and has sold many canvasses to clients who know her work or visiting enthusiasts who have watched the evolution over the last three years.
